Manchester United new signing Raphael Varane is reportedly planning to fly to Manchester on Monday to complete his anticipated move to Manchester United.
The club on Tuesday announced that it has reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of the central defender, subject to a medical and to player terms being finalized. The deal is believed to be around £34 million-plus add-ons for four years, with the option of a further year. It also said that the payments will be spread out and Real Madrid will pay the solidarity payment for the player crossing jurisdictions of 5 percent of the fee.
Now, as relayed by Fabrizio Romano the 4-time Champions League winner is planning to fly to Manchester on Monday to have his medical. Contract signing is also said to be scheduled for next week, Raphael Varane will then be unveiled as a Manchester United player.
Raphael Varane wasn’t quite offered the goodbye ceremony, but that didn’t prevent him from showing his affection for the club. He said his goodbyes yesterday while thanking everyone at the club for their help and support over the past decade.
