Manchester United’s horrendous run of form continues as they are comfortably beaten 2-0 by Manchester City at Old Trafford. Right from the get-go, Manchester United looked confused, aimless and purposeless against a City side that did not have to break a sweat. Something has to change at United or things can go real ugly real quick.
1- David De Gea: Kept the game from being a cricket score in the first half producing save after save. Should have dealt with their second. 7
2- Victor Lindelof: Not good enough. 2
3- Eric Bailly: Same old story. Has a decent game then back to being awful. 1
4- Harry Maguire: Awful yet again. 1
5- Aaron Wan-Bissaka: Watching him against Joao Cancelo must have sent a couple of Manchester United fans into depression. He has been a liability all season. He is not even a good defender. 1
6- Luke Shaw: Not good. Again. 1
7- Scott Mctominay: Overwhelmed in midfield by a much better City side. 2
8- Fred: Ran around aimlessly. 2
9- Bruno Fernandes: Horrendous on and off the ball. 1
10- Mason Greenwood: Nothing to note. 2
11- Cristiano Ronaldo: Tested Ederson once. 3
1- Jadon Sancho: Came on to try to add urgency but this United squad isn’t coached to play quick football.
2- Marcus Rashford: Good cardio.
3- Donny Van De Beek: Came on.
Ole: Just get him out. No point in delaying the inevitable. 0
