Manchester United is reportedly unlikely to make any more signings before the transfer window closes according to reports.
United is said to have achieved its target of three incomings in a summer window following the arrival of Tom Heaton on free earlier this summer, Jadon Sancho for a fee reported being worth around £74 million from Borussia Dortmund and Raphael Varane for £34 million from Real Madrid.
The club, according to Samuel Luckhurst, has also explored the possibility of deals for a midfielder, a second center-back, and a full-back. But the club’s inability to sell anyone this summer and the financial impact of the pandemic have hindered the possibility of any other incoming.
Manchester United so far this summer has not sold a single player but Jesse Lingard still looks the most likely to leave before the end of the window. Whether his transfer fee would be reinvested into the squad this summer is a question with yet no answer.
