Man United are stepping up their interest in Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni according to a report
Paul Pogba has entered the final year of his contract and has so far failed to agree a new deal with United.
Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have all expressed an interest in signing Pogba, who was unsuccessful in his attempt to leave Old Trafford in 2019.
According to Football Insider, Manchester United are already eyeing Monaco’s midfield sensation Aurelien Tchouameni as his possible replacement.
United scouts watched Tchouameni in action two weeks ago for the French club against PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League according to the same source
Football Insider claim United scouts will be sent to watch the Monaco star again in the coming months to gauge his suitability for a move to Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the best talents in Europe after impressing for club and country in the last 18 months.
Tchouameni has broken into the France team and helped them win the Nations League finals earlier this month.
