In Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men’s last preparations before the start of the Premier League season, they played their best pre-season game so far, beating Rafa Benitez’s Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford in front of 55,000 fans. In a very high-paced game, United led twice through two wonder goals by u23 player Anthony Elanga and Andreas Pereira but was unable to hold their lead twice.
